The Radiodetection RD316 is a magnetic locator which provides accurately detection of buried, ferrous metal objects. Simple to operate and lightweight in design, the RD316 is capable of detecting surveyor's markers, valve boxes and manhole covers up to 2.5m.

Utilising the latest in electronic balancing, the Radiodetection RD316 can accurately locate underground ferrous metal objects. The RD316 provides the ability to detect surveyor's markers, valve boxes and manhole covers up to 2.5m, as well as locating larger objects such as storage tanks, drums and cast iron pipes down to depths of 4.5m. 

The RD316 model accommodates a number of versatile features, including an LCD visual indicator that displays signal strength and a bargraph, as well as an audible output, that sounds on the location of a buried object. In addition, the RD316 provides an erase function, to block out magnetic interference and also features a low battery indicator, alerting the user when the batteries require changing. 

The Radiodetection RD316 is lightweight, waterproof and ergonomically designed, allowing the operator comfortable use for long periods at a time.
