If you need a device to measure power quality in single phase and balanced three phase systems, the AFLEX 6300 is a straightforwrd choice. Having a graphic screen allows the user to see a wide range of parameters being measured, such as harmonics analysis, waveforms and 3-phase phasor diagrams, whilst the AFLEX 6300 is connected and logging.
Being a cheaper alternative to a fully specified power analyser, the AFLEX 6300 still has a fully featured specification list, ans is extremely portable. The internal memory of 512KB allows for recording of up to 32,000 transient events. The AFLEX 6300 is supplied with a flexible current probe (610mm in length), and will allow recording of True RMS current up to 3000A, and AC voltage of up to 600V. In addition, recording of a full range of power parameters, inclding watts, kilowatts, horsepower, kilowatt hours and watt hours can be performed with the AFLEX 6300. Power factor, phase angle, reactive and apparent powers, harmonic distortion and inrush currents can all be captured with this instrument, as well as a full range of voltage transients, such as swells, dips and outages.
The AFLEX 6300 is supplied complete in a field case, with a USB cable and it's own software for connection to a PC, making results analysis and presentation easily possible.
