The Benning CM 5-1 is an industrial grade digital clamp meter with a multitude of innovative features, not found in similar instruments. The first thing that the user notices is the lack of a selection dial, because this clamp meter has an auto test function, which automatically selects the correct measuring range for true RMS current/voltage AC/DC, resistance, continuity and diode test.

Operation is not only safe, but also extremely easy because of the fact that no selection of units is necessary - the clamp meter does it all for you. A built in light sensor means that the CM 5-1 will even turn on it's display backlight automatically when lighting conditions become unfavourable. All the user needs to do is turn on the meter, and then let the CM 5-1 do the rest.
