The HT-19 offers a high resolution thermal imaging device with an infrared resolution of 320 x 240 pixels in a compact hand held device which is also low cost. The resolution offered in this device is equal to the resolution used by many thermal imaging professionals and makes the HT-19 an ideal choice for building and electrical inspections, mechanical troubleshooting and thermal imaging of pipes and water leaks.

With 5 different colour palettes, the user is able to select higher or lower contrast colours which aids in bringing out subtle details in the thermal profile being captured by the device. Once an area of interest is highlighted on the screen, a thermal image can be captured by pulling the trigger to save the image to the internal memory, which can store up to approximately 20,000 images, all in JPEG format. These images can be downloaded to a PC by connecting the supplied USB cable and emailed to a recipient, or added to a document, such as a Word template or report template where applicable. 

The HT-19 offers a range of features usually reserved for much more expensive devices and is powered by a rechargeable battery, which can keep the device operating for up to approximately 2-3 hours of use. The large easy to read 3.2 inch colour TFT display also displays real time measurement of a centre spot temperature, as well as both a floating hot spot and cold spot for easy identification of temperature problems in a wide range of applications. A built in visual camera can also be used to capture visual images separately, which can also be added to emails or documents for ease of referencing.
